Jace Syntax, has dj’d since around 1990, and grew up listening to the emerging electronic music at that time. He fell in love with Electro, House and Detroit Techno and was breakdancing and Djing in the clubs from an early age, and along with Pussypower, Twitch (Optimo) and FunkDVoid, he has continued to play to thisday, from bars, to clubs, to warehouses & outdoor Raves in Glasgow andaround Scotland, He carries his blueprint of fresh underground acidic house wherever he plays.

Jace ran Syntax, a night that ran for nearly a decade in Glasgow clubs to muchcritical acclaim and press interest. He has dj’d with Blake Baxter (UR), MarkAmbrose, Justin Berkovi, Pure Science, Thomas Chrome, Nathan Coles, DerrickThompson and many more.

Jace is a trained artist and graphic designer and has also been making his own music for the last five years or so using Reason and Ableton plus a host of samples and plug ins. Jaces first release was the seminal90’s classic “The Theme” by Unique 3, Jace was one of ten to win a contest toremix the track out of 800, This was also one of his most influential trackgrowing up and made his path on music seem justified finally, Shortly afterJace joined new Scottish Label Pigeon Project to remix Seattle Dj BGirl featWise proof “ Show and Prove”, In the last few months Jace has released “WhereEver You Are” on Paul Macs Sulamuse records. Uk ( No1 in Dancetracks Digital AprilsHouse Chart) as well as a remix for Tom Pariss “Critical Expansion” on DjCenter Paris. A relaunch of Tech House maestro Mark Ambrose’s Crayon recordswill also see Jace release some future e.ps in the near future

Along with his partner Siouxla le Sommer sometimes supplyingvocal duties, Jace generally goes for an old school uplifting vibe withemphasis on melody, bass and vocals and he is still maintaining his love ofearly house music and wonky techno.
