Mutate's release schedule promises a selection of crisp musical biscuits from the broader idiom of electronic music, from old school revisits, to new school breaks and beats through underground house pressure, twisted techno to freestyle electronica.

Cakeboy - Swamp Thing - The Sequel
The second installment of Cakeboy's Swamp Thing with remixes from Sheffield's breaks overlord Kickflip, serious twisted breaks with production tighter than Jane Fonda's leotard, next up are glitch-out specialists Socco Chico, bass driven to the end, with a hyped up, stabbed up breakdown of epic proportion, Old school production crew Rhythmatic are back with a breaks orientated re-work, bassed up to the nines, dowsed in synth hooks and sprinkled with nuff electro goodness. last but not least is our favourite Spaniard Hector Hernandez who drops the bass, right into the mix, heavy, heavy heavy!
Cakeboy - Swamp Thing
Brighton's Cakeboy delivers an infectious, catchy and instantly accessible breaks monster, an homage to the b-movie beast, featuring driving bass,old school stab action and a frustratingly catchy montone vocal treatment. Remixes come in from legend of the wobbly bass Calvertron, a off beat synth led colossus of a remix causing chaos on dancefloors globally. JFB steps up to the mark with a refreshingly sweet dubstep treatment, doing well to refrain from unleashing the stereotype massive bassline that soaks through dubstep, keeping it true to the original. Canada's finest and Mutate new boy Travino chooses the path of club anthem, the mix certainly satisfies.
